We had a great time presenting at ECMC. Our program was: Let’s Get Cooking: Food as an Introduction to Learning. A few people approached us about coming to their schools to do individual seminars. 6/22/09 – 6/26/09 Summer Camp Dates
Serving Up Fun’s summer camp will be held the week of June 22nd. We will be cooking from 9 to 12 each day. The camp will focus on cooking techniques, science fun and cooking-related crafts. Each day of camp deals with a different technique or cuisine, but we will also be building on what we learn throughout the week. We will be bringing home good things to eat each day. Friday will be our end of camp party, where everything we have learned comes together for a truly delicious celebration. Contact liz.vancampen@verizon.net for more information or to register.
4/10/09 Chef Mini-Camp
Friday, April 10th, Serving Up Fun will be offering a three hour mini-camp from 9am to 12pm. We will be cooking up a storm, decorating and eating our creations, exploring food-related science and literature, and generally having a great time! Each child will get hands on time in the kitchen and work on at least two cooking projects, one to eat at camp and one to take home to their family. I know it’s just an oversight that you didn’t mention the summer camp dates to me. It couldn’t be because you don’t want my children there.

The blog is the only publicity for the summer camp dates at this time. All attendees of the mini-camp will be going home with a coupon for the summer camp. That coupon will, of course, have the dates on it. General registration and our publicity blitz will begin the following Tuesday.
